Take a peek into the fascinating world of whisky! At The Blend’s Whiskies of the World event, you’ll experience the unique craft of whisky blending and even prepare a sample of your own blend! Moreover, you’ll learn numerous items of interest from a real expert.
This educational/tasting programme is led by Zdeněk Kortiš, one of the leading Czech whisky connoisseurs and collectors, owner of a renowned bar in Olomouc, and whisky ambassador and lecturer of Jan Becher – Pernod Ricard. During the 1.5-hour programme, you will go through the story of Scotch whisky, including its history, production, and the portfolio of Chivas Regal and The Glenlivet brands. You will taste several kinds of whisky from the four main regions of Scotland and then put everything you’ve learned into practice by preparing your own sample of blended whisky from a selection of whiskies to take home.
